Evan is 4! {Alpharetta Family Photographer}
Somehow I'm the Mama of a 4 year old. I feel like I blinked (and had a couple more babies) and here we are. I'm clinging on to the fact that he's still kind of considered a toddler (right?!). Our family has changed and grown in many ways since this little boy entered the world.
And this boy. Man, I'll tell you what. He is precious. It's amazing to watch and help grow this little guy into what he'll become. I'm a witness to how God's plan for his life is unfolding in the way he loves on his brothers, how he searches for knowledge, even how his frustrations come to head in a hot mess of tears when he can't get his Legos just right. Yes, the good and the bad, I'm there to teach and instruct him, to encourage him to look to Jesus, to put others first, to remember his manners, and put all his effort into his relationships, work, and play with utmost integrity. This is my daily drive.
I was able to sneak him outside after his birthday dinner with the family for some quick portraits in the back yard before the cake and present frenzy began. He insisted on bringing his Spiderman balloon he picked out with Daddy. Once I convinced him it wouldn't blow away, he was okay with it sitting to the side where he could keep an eye on it. And here he is. Sweet and so full of life and curiosity...his little mannerisms gleaming through to bring joy to this Mama's heart for years to come.
Happy birthday, dear Evan!
