Sunflowers and Sunshine {Cumming GA Family Photographer}

Amy and her two little ones met me in the late morning to photograph a quick session on the final morning that The Anderson's Sunflower Farm in Cumming, GA was open! This sunflower farm is a good place for family pictures in Forsyth County and well known by photographers in Cumming. The flowers only are in bloom within a two week timeframe in Mid-July. Of course an Atlanta area portrait session in July, even at 10 am it is hot!

Ethan and Josie are an adorable sibling pair. They're less than 2 years apart in age and just getting to the point where they can really begin to play together. Josie's also an early walker, so she wasn't wanting to stay in place for long as she was ready to head off and explore the beautiful sunflower field! I certainly don't blame her! I find that when I bring along a chair or a blanket for the kids to sit on and something to do, it helps anchor them for a second! Ethan was very sweet to exchange flowers with his sister and offer her some little kisses.

I love working with toddlers, even though they can be quite a challenge! While I strive to get a few good portraits of everyone looking at the camera, I find that the most meaningful images to parents are those where the children are interacting with each other in a more natural, authentic way.
