Coastal Maternity Session {South Atlanta Maternity Photographer}

We traveled to the Georgia coast to visit family for the Labor Day weekend! My sister-in-law is due with her first little one (a boy!) at the end of October. The ideal time to have maternity pictures taken is around 30-34 weeks and our visit coincidentally fell right in that time frame! Thankfully the scattered thunderstorms quelled for the evening and we were able to sneak out before the daylight faded as my boys were getting into bed for the night.

Since I wasn't familiar with the location, Jamie & Lauren took me to a little spot tucked into their neighborhood. The setting was a gorgeous dock that extended into the grassy marshes while the sunset glimpsed through the tall Georgia pines behind us. It was a narrow space to work in, but I was able to grab some lovely portraits in about 20 minutes or so before dusk settled in.
