Fall Family Pictures at Jones Bridge Park {Atlanta Family Photographer}

When this Mama reached out to me for fall family pictures, she really wanted some beautiful fall colors in the backdrop and fun, playful images. We scheduled the session on the first day of Daylight Savings at a beautiful location for family pictures in the Atlanta area, Jones Bridge Park. Their young family included a silly, vivacious 5 year old and a set of sweet, somewhat shy two-year old twins! When it came to what to wear for family pictures, we settled on navy blue with a pop of red, which would complement the color scheme of their home decor.

The evening was a bit overcast, but we were thankful that the rain held off! Jones Bridge Park is a great location for family pictures near Atlanta because it has a large, open grassy field surrounded by deciduous trees that offer a lot of beautiful colors in the fall. I gathered them together for some more traditional family portraits and then we had fun capturing the kids playing, tickle fights, and shoulder rides.

The river is also beautiful and it was a little tricky getting three little ones out to a large flat area out in the water. The family had brought along a little fishing net and the kids took turns trying to fish in the water, which they had fun doing! I’ve taken family pictures at Jones Bridge Park in warmer weather and was able to wade through the water knee deep, but it was much too chilly for me to climb in during the fall weather!

I worked with them to help them select the perfect canvas options for their home! My ultimate goal as a family photographer is to provide clients the ability to get portraits on the walls of their home that they are proud to display.
