Intimate Fall Wedding at Triple Crown Clubhouse {Milton, GA Wedding Photographer}
After years of being together, Brittany and Tyler were finally wed in an intimate backyard wedding ceremony at the Triple Crown Clubhouse in Milton, GA. It was the most perfect afternoon and the fall foliage was at it’s peak for their mid-November wedding day. Their dear family friends offered the use of their gorgeous Milton home for both bride and groom to get ready before heading to the Triple Crown Clubhouse for their candlelit ceremony and evening reception. Brittany wore a gorgeous lace sleeved dress that was a soft pink color—I just loved that unique touch as the wedding colors were blue with touches of pink accents. She wore her late Grandmother’s broach over her heart, which served as her “something old”.
Brittany and Tyler have a soft spot in their hearts for rescue animals—they have seven of them! Brittany selected the most adorable dog patterned Toms for her wedding shoes for a personal and comfortable touch and Tyler’s tie was covered with little dogs. Brittany and her father are very close so it was important to have a first look with him captured before we headed to the backyard and had the big reveal with her Groom! He offered her a glass of champagne and it was a very sweet moment of joy between the two of them.
When everyone was ready, I set Tyler up outside on the gorgeous stone patio in the backyard of the Milton estate and captured the excitement and anticipation of the time ahead of them! The garden had the most beautiful vibrant yellow Maple tree that I just had to capture them in front of for some Bride and Groom formals before we headed over to the Triple Crown Clubhouse to meet with the rest of the family.
The sunset that evening was absolutely gorgeous peeking through the Georgia pines!
I absolutely loved the personalized custom cake toppers that their wedding cake had. The artist created miniature representations of their rescue pets as well as details of their wedding attire—you can even see Tyler’s dog-patterned tie! I just adored this! Throughout the clubhouse venue were tealights, blue hydrangeas, and rustic wooden touches. The clubhouse fireplace was covered with candlelight and served as the backdrop to their vows. Throughout the space, pink uplight accented the walls and really elevated the feel of the reception.
The intimate wedding reception was full of dancing and fun! I just loved capturing the events as they unfolding during the nighttime reception. Brittany had mentioned during our consultation meeting that it was important to keep the ambiance of the candlelight and pink accent lights so the images retained the feel of the room that evening. So I ensured that I was able to capture the action of the dancing as well as the ambient light available.
I wanted to make sure we captured some nighttime portraits for the Bride and Groom as well since the majority of the events took place after sundown. I’m so grateful to them for putting up with the cold so that we were able to capture these sweet images for them. Did you notice that you can see their breath in the black and white portrait outside of the Triple Crown Clubhouse? It was really cold that night for November! To finish the night off, Tyler and Brittany had a sparkler exit!
