In Home Family Lifestyle Adoption Session {Cobb County Photographer}

As a Cobb county photographer, I really enjoy being invited to come out to Atlanta family homes to photograph in home lifestyle sessions! I drive all over metro Atlanta to work as family photographer, but I am based in Cobb County. I love using the home’s natural window light to create more intimate images that show the candid relationship between family members.

This particular session was a wonderful opportunity I had in my relationship with Found Families, which is a non profit association that connects photographers with local newly adoptive parents. I know so many friends though church and the community who have gone through the adoption process and it is a long, arduous and financially burdening journey. As an Atlanta family photographer, I am passionate about families having their memories documented and by teaming up with Found Families I can give back to the community in a meaningful way. An in home portrait session was a way for this adoptive family to celebrate being able to finally officially call their sweet baby girl their own. If you’re a family who has adopted in the last year (or know someone who has), feel free to refer them to the Found Families website to complete an application. Availability will depend on the photographers available in their area in the US. As for myself, I can only take a limited number of these sessions a year as I put in just as much time and attention to these adoptive families as I do with my custom clients.
