Two Year Portraits of My Sweet Baby Boy {Cobb County Child Photographer}

As a child photographer in Forsyth County, I can’t let a birthday pass by without taking pictures of my own kids. I can hardly believe my littlest one has hit two years already! It seems like we just threw his sweet Neverland Themed first birthday party. Jace, our youngest of four boys, has so much personality. He’s speaking in full sentences already and is always after fun and silliness.

There are so many good places to take fall pictures in Cumming, but I’ve been passing by this field alongside the road for weeks as I run errands around Forsyth County. The sun sets just beyond the trees and this time of year it is blooming with Goldenrod. I know all you who deal with pollen allergies in the fall are probably feeling wheezy just looking at it, but despite being a weed these flowers have so much texture and vibrance! It’s really just a pull off for a service road, but I kept swooning over it as I passed by so I decided to run Jace over there for a quick session on his birthday.

I brought along a few props for Jace to sit on, including a little chair and a vintage suitcase but, like any two-year old, he was not still for long! When it comes to portrait sessions with toddlers I keep the pace quick and lighthearted, provide simple playful direction, and go with the flow! I am so happy with how perfect the weather and light was that evening…the images turned out exactly as I envisioned.
